Training & Fighting
Keatkhamtorn gym is open to foreigners as well as thais, men aswell as female. Our main strength is that we got a stall of active thaifighters, training together with the foreigners, so there always will be strong clinch, and sparring partners available.
We can arrange fights at all levels, and get an even but challenging match-up after the trainers consideration. However, you don't have to fight if you don't want too! We offer courses for those who just want to improve their MuayThai skills, increase their fitness levels, our train to become a MuayThai instructor. Each course, are rewarded with a training certificated, signed by the gym manager, Jakae, and the trainer of yours.
Women in the boxing ring

Keatkhamtorn gym actively works to spread the sport among women. Some gyms carry the tradition to not allow women into the boxing ring. In year 2007 we built a boxing ring, that women also are allowed to train in. We've been working with female students at various levels: from fitness and self-defence to nationals teams. We're as willing to provide females with MuayThai fights in Thailand as with men.
Training routine
The training schedule consists of two sessions a day, six days a week according to the traditional thai routine. The gym mainly specialize on clinch, and knee fighting, with some fighters clinching up to, one hour, twice a day. Concurrently our local fighters have many different styles, with some hard punching walk-forward fighters, technical all-round fighters, clinch fighters. We can cater to everyone!
To avoid overtraining, and injuries the trainers will gradually build up your training volume, and pace. We run 12 kilometres, a day, punch and kick the bags for a dozen rounds, so a pair of good running shoes, ancle support, handwraps and a pair of comfortable boxing gloves are recommended! All this gear can be bought here in Bangkok.
