Do I have to book for training?
Booking is not required for training. It may be necessary though if you want to be ensured a room, and airport transfer.
I have no prior experience of MuayThai, can I still train at Keatkhamtorn gym?
We offer training to everyone - beginners, women, younger and older people. If you train hard you may even end up having a fight.
What is in the nearby surroundings?
There's hospital, barber and haircut, restaurants, 7-11 within five minutes walking distance from the gym. Tesco department store around 10 minute walk and the big shopping center and cineplex Fashion Island with a 5 minute taxi ride.
Do I need to bring any training gear for training?
All necessary equipment, like gloves, shin protections are available at the gym. You may bring your training shorts and a pair of handwraps with you. If not there's a small gearshop at the gym, and TWINS, Windy, Boonsports, Raja gear shops within 30 minutes from the gym.
What food are included in the accomodation?
The food is served in a variety of thai dishes, meat, vegetables together with rice. We have muslim fighters in Keatkhamtorn fighter stable, so food without pork is no problem!
Do you accept female students?
We accept training for female students, with or without prior experience of MuayThai. It's also possible to arrange fights for them.
Can you arrange fights?
We can arrange fights for you at any time, at all levels, in most parts of Thailand: from small countryside fights, fights around the Southern islands to major events at Lumpini and Rajadamnern stadium in Bangkok. It's up to your ability.
I intend to stay at the gym for one month, how should I do about VISA?
Most countries will get 30 days on arrival in Thailand, which can be extended for 7 days. If you're not sure check with your local Thai embassy.
I intend to stay at the gym for three months, how should I do about VISA?
You can apply for a 2 month tourist VISA at your local embassy. When your visa is about to expire we will take you to the Immigration Office and help you extend it for another month.
I intend to stay at the gym for one year, how should I do with VISA?
We will send you all necessary paperwork needed for the Non-ED Student VISA, for studying a year long MuayThai. Note that very few embassies and consulates issue this VISA.
An alternative is to apply for a double tourist visa which gives you 2x2 (which can be extended for another 30 days each time) months in Thailand. Then you can go outside Thailand, to Malaysia, or Laos for example and apply for another double tourist visa.
